Christmas gifts on show at newsXpress Riverlink

riverlink1.jpgThis photo shows another display created for newsXpress Riverlink using our in-house premium Visual Merchandising expert. Owner Belinda Williams was thrilled with the result: Everything is easy to see and with use of props and stands everything is accessible and looks inviting. I was in the gift area yesterday and a regular customer asked if I had a new staff member working for me because the gift area now looks like a high end department store set up.

The display features gifts from newsXpress preferred suppliers, presented in a shopper-friendly appealing way.

Many newsXpress members are reporting good Christmas sales, especially of the items recommended by the newsXpress merchandise team.  As the photo shows, a key to success is an appealing display.

Christmas in Terrigal

terrigal-christmas.jpgnewsXpress Terrigal has a terrific Christmas display, showing off a wonderful range of gifts, cards and Christmas treats running along the left side of the store.

Just a few months ago this business was burnt out by a fire.  You wouldn’t know itwhen you visit their current temporary location.

newsXpress Riverlink Christmas window

riverlink2.jpgnewsXpress Riverlink engaged expert visual merchandising services through newsXpress to create a range of displays promoting the newsXpress cjristmas range.

This window display is drawing excellent interest as Belinda Williams (owner of newsXpress Riverlink) explains: the comments we have had have been outstanding. One store in the centre asked which Visual Merchandising Company did we use as they would like to get them to do their window.

The Riverlink Centre Manager and Operations Manager both personally came in store said they are normally happy with our window displays during the year, but this outshines everything they have every seen, and to continue build great displays like the current one.

Also I have lost count but roughly 6 reps from other company’s have commented on it and in store the staff are getting at least 10 comments a day from customers on how good it looks or that they want to buy product that is in the window – which incidentally is from the Merry Giftmas catalogue and majority of this product is on tables in front of store.

This is a terrific outcome for the newsXpress Riverlink team, for newsXpress suppliers and for newsXpress itself.  Congratulations to everyone involved.

The decision by newsXpress Seymour to also promote the Christmas reindeer just behind the storybooks is also smart – the $5.00 deal makes the books even more interesting to shoppers.

newsXpress is proud to be the lead strategic partner with Hallmark in the newsagency channel with Hallmark on the launch of the recordable storybook range.

This display is a good example of visual merchandising advice provided by newsXpress coming to life in-store.  It is the newsXpress difference in action.

newsXpress sources an excellent mix of products for members ranging from high margin to exclusive to innovative.  Where we really streak ahead of marking groups is the practical help we provide in helping newsXpress members leverage product opportunities to cash in the bank.

The newsXpress difference

A key difference of the newsXpress newsagency marketing group is our Business Development Manager team.  Our BDMs work with newsXpress members to help encourage and guide the development of the business.  They help fix problems, act as a sounding board, connect with suppliers and roll their sleeves up and help make changes in the business.

From assistance sourcing new product to assistance on magazine supply issues, newsXpress members know that their BDM offers an extra pair of helping hands which can add real value to the performance of the business.

No other newsagency marketing group offers such hands on practical support.

newsXpress members have access to their BDM as part of the newsXpress monthly membership fee.  This is a newsXpress difference.  Practical and valuable.
