Optus promotion at newsXpress Roselands

newsXpress Roselands is promoting Optus handsets, SIM packs and recharge next to newspapers with this tactical placement of the Optus display unit sourced through newsXpress preferred supplier Jenlist.  This is an excellent location as it is high traffic and space efficient without acting as a barrier to shoppers exploring the rest of the newsagency.

Research shows that promoting mobile phone handsets in a high traffic location will boost recharge business.

Terrific Australian Women’s Weekly display at newsXpress Ballarat

Check out the excellent display for the Christmas edition for The Australian Women’s Weekly at newsXpress Ballarat.

This is an excellent example of an excellent display which is sure to attract shopper attention.

AWW is easily purchased from the display … which is a must for any visual merchandising in a newsagency.

Wonderful Paris themed display at newsXpress Wetherill Park

newsXpress Wetherill Park has been running a wonderful promotion of gift and related items with a Paris theme.

Featuring products sourced from one of our newsXpress preferred suppliers, this terrific display is not what you would expect when you walk into a newsagency … this is exactly why it works at generating sales.  It is also generating traffic from shoppers who notice the display as they walk past the shop.

Well done to the team at newsXpress Wetherill Park on such excellent initiative,  creative execution and for supporting a newsXpress preferred supplier … you do the newsXpress brand proud.

Spring themed display at newsXpress Launceston

What a wonderful, warm and welcoming display created y the team at newsXpress Launceston.  This Spring themed window display is just terrific.  Bringing together products from a range of suppliers, this display certainly shows off a depth of range of products one would not usually associate with a newsagency.  Well done to the team at newsXpress Launceston for such a good buying and a wonderful display of the products available.

Walking past the shop, Launceston shoppers would certainly notice the display and most likely browse the shop … checking out the excellent range of gifts promoted.

We are very lucky here at newsXpress to have a diverse mix of businesses, owners, team members and skills in our newsXpress family.  While our stores support suppliers with structured displays and promotions, we have fresh and innovative out of the usual displays like this one from newsXpress Launceston to challenge and motivate us.

Brilliant Lovatts display at newsXpress Ballarat

The team at newsXpress Ballarat has created what we consider to be the best promotional display for the excellent range of Lovatts crossword titles.  This display makes the titles heroes in a wonderful display which uses the pencil motif to visually connect with the engagement one has with a Lovatts crossword or puzzle title.  We loved this display so much that we shared it with our team of Business Development Managers for them to show newsXpress stores as they make their visits around the country, helping newsXpress members with best practice display and management in and of their business.

Complete Wedding magazine promotion

newsXpress Lismore Square has been promoting Complete Wedding magazine from newsXpress preferred supplier Universal Magazines with this promotional display placement at the front of the newsagency, facing shoppers as they enter the business.

This is a perfect time to be promoting wedding magazines and Complete Wedding is an excellent magazine to promote.

newsXpress Ballarat is getting right behind the latest issue of Top Gear from ACP Magazines.  This terrific and captivating window display connects with the upcoming racing season and is sure to drive sales of Top Gear magazine.  Layering the magazine with a chequered flag look is a wonderful touch for this display.

Retro is in at newsXpress Leongatha

newsXpress Leongatha has been embracing the popular retro opportunity with this dance floor display of retro products from newsXpress preferred suppliers and backing this with collateral from our newsXpress marketing kit.    Retro is certainly in thanks to some terrific products from newsXpress suppliers.  It is proving to be an excellent niche with which to build gift sales in between major seasons … as they have done at newsXpress Leongatha.

Excellent Visual Merchandising Display at newsXpress Watergardens for New Idea Daffodil Day Promo

Delicious and Tempting Magazine Display at newsXpress Maryborough

The display was an excellent representation of this new title. The cakes fitted beautifully with the aspiration reflected on the pages of each issue. Now if only we could have all got to try some of these cupcakes.

Clever placement of New Idea Masterclass at Ballarat

masterclass-ballarat.JPGnewsXpress Ballarat very cleverly placed their promotional unit for the New Idea Masterclass one-shot title next to their display of Baked & Delicious. This was a smart move as the two titles work together and could sell to the same shopper.

With these displays placed at the front of the newsagency, they were seen by all shoppers entering the store.

Sometimes it is not the attractiveness or size of the promotional display but its location which is more important to its sales success.

Baked & Delicious at newsXpress Ivanhoe

This promotional display, which was in place for a couple of weeks, was big and bold, perfect for leveraging the high profile national TV campaign being run in support of this new title.

Being such a busy shop in the main street of Ivanhoe (Victoria), this display would have been seen by many shoppers and those passing the business.  Well done to everyone involved at newsXpress Ivanhoe.

Promoting Maxim magazine at Indooroopilly

Like many newsXpress stores around Australia, the newsXpress Indooroopilly team understands the value of supporting a new magazine title which is being backed with a good marketing spend.

This launch issue of the local edition of Maxim magazine is proudly supported by newsXpress nationally through newsXpress stores with additional marketing collateral for members and support from our head office team.

Award for newsXpress Knox display

harryp1.JPGCongratulations to the team at newsXpress Knox for winning a visual merchandising award from the herald and Weekly Times for their Harry Potter display behind the counter.  This display at first featuring Lord Voldemort and then Harry Potter drove new traffic and over the counter sales for the business.  It became an excellent anchor for the business for several weeks.

The Knox team uses this space behind the counter for powerful and basket building displays, always focusing on a single product or theme and usually doing this around a strong brand.

Baked and Delicious looks delicious in Pakenham

newsXpress Pakenham created a terrific shop front display prommoting the new baked and delicious partwork.  Spread across the window and facing onto main Street, the display features some delicious cupcakes showing the results of following issue 1 of the part series.
