Congratulations to newsXpress Oxenford for selling the winning lottery ticket in Thursday night’s lottery draw.  The $3 million won by there newsXpress Oxenford is sure to help make Christmas 2011 special for the winner and their family.

A Deception Bay mum and shopper at newsXpress Deception Bay will pay off the mortgage and take her husband on a dream overseas holiday after scratching the $250,000 top prize on a $5 Crosswords ‘Penguin’ Instant Scratch-Its ticket.

The lucky mum explained that she didn’t realise she had won the top prize until her daughter checked the ticket.  “I scratched the game panel and saw that I’d revealed ten complete words, but it didn’t click that I had won a major prize,” she said.

“I handed the ticket to my daughter, who was sitting next to me on the couch, and asked her to check to see if I’d won anything.  Her face lit up and she said – Mum, you’ve won 250 thousand dollars!

“Well I couldn’t contain my excitement and started jumping up and down and running around the house like a mad woman!

When asked what she plans to do with her windfall the mum said she would pay off the house and take her husband on a dream overseas holiday.

The woman purchased her winning Instant Scratch-Its ticket from newsXpress Deception Bay.

Two more newsXpress stores sold division one winning tickets in last night’s $21 million lotto superdraw. newsXpress Browns Plains and newsXpress Nambour Plaza each sold tickets winning $1,235,294.12. Congratulations!

Can you believe this?  newsXpress Nerang sold the winning ticket in Tuesday night’s $30 million OzLotto draw.  Golden Casket has confirmed that this same lucky newsXpress store sold a $30 million winning ticket in June.  Lucky, lucky, lucky newsXpress Nerang!

newsXpress Emerald and newsXpress Sarina each sold Division 2 winning tickets in Saturday’s Lotto draw.  good news for these lucky newsXpress members and even better news for their lucky shoppers.

newsXpress stores achieved extraordinary success with Wednesday’s Gold Lotto draw.  newsXpress Runaway Bay and newsXpress Pacific Pines each sold a division one winning ticket.  They were the only two stores to do so.  Of the six division two winners, two were sold at newsXpress stores: newsXpress Emerald and newsXpress Browns Plains.  Well done newsXpressers!

newsXpress Watergardens achieved an excellent uplift in sales of instant scratch tickets thanks to this smart front of store display as well as employee engagement with Intralot caps and the offering of a reward for customers buying a certain number of consecutive tickets without achieving at least one win.

There was an immediate and sustained lift in sales as a result of the well co-ordinated and managed campaign. This lift is sales was achieved from existing customers as well as from new customers attracted by the impressive display.
