Our stores are banking excellent margin dollars thanks to the negotiation skills of our merchandise team. We ensure that we help our members make the maximum margin possible. Too often we see national buyers keep margin for themselves.

HIT ink! at newsXpress is a real winner. The success at newsXpress Maryborough is an excellent example.

Making the Most of the HOT ink! Opportunity

ink-yarram.JPGnewsXpress Yarram has been promoting the newsXpress HOT ink! range with an excellent window display … offering a real sense of retail theatre.

Bright and bold, this display is a real eye catcher in the main street of Yarram, Victoria.  It says that newsXpress Yarram is the go to place for ink. It connects the store with the HOT ink! flyers sent out promoting the latest ink specials.

Well done to everyone involved! This is a terrifically creative window display.

newsXpress newsagencies across Australia are offering great-value highly competitive deals on ink.  Shoppers who compare are seeing the genuine savings delivered by shopping at newsXpress.  newsXpress members who compare are thrilled at their competitive position and the excellent margin they are making from ink thanks to newsXpress commercial deals.

Great Ink Deals in Bairnsdale Victoria

ink-bairnsdale.JPGnewsXpress Bairnsdale is promoting the latest HOT ink! flyer with a terrific in-store display showing off the full range of brand name inks available. Segmented by brand, the range is easy to browse and shop. The newsXpress supplied price tickets add a nice touch to an already professional and bold display.

With such an excellent display on show and highly competitive prices on offer, newsXpress Bairnsdale attracts ink shoppers from a wide area.  The commitment to ink shows the newsXpress difference in action!

Newsagency marketing group value on show at newsXpress

newsXpress newsagents located near Lucky Charm newsagents and Nextra newsagents are enjoying the latest HOT ink! campaign since the newsXpress prices are better than the Lucky Charm and Nextra prices … better than all for nextra and better than all but two for The Lucky Charm.  What is even better is that newsXpress newsagents are banking excellent margin dollars while maintaining highly competitive prices.

This head to head competition between the three marketing groups is interesting in that Nextra and the Lucky Charm are claiming everyday low prices and best prices guaranteed respectively.  Lucky Charm meets the claim by offering to beat other’s prices by 5%.  We consider that to be lazy marketing.  newsXpress stays away from such claims in its marketing materials and actually delivers better prices.

At newsXpress, when it come to ink, shoppers win, newsXpress members win and our preferred suppliers win.

There is a considerable difference when it comes to newsagency marketing groups as the current ink promotion being run by all three shows.

“With everything done for me, all I have to do is order the stock put it on the shelf and concentrate on serving my customers, how easy is that?”

HOT ink! Has helped restore my faith in my newsagency”

newsXpress Bairnsdale embraces HOT ink!

newsXpress Bairnsdale proprietors Dave and Gina have firmly embraced HOT ink! since joining our network. Prior to their introduction to newsXpress, they ran with another Ink group, enjoying reasonable success, but since introducing HOT ink! their results have been phenomenal.

They gleefully accepted advice to install their range in the front window and subsequently cleared the formerly cluttered windows to realy highlight the stock. There is still some work ot do but the transformation has been amazing. The display will be completed by the use of the square modules for additional promotional stock.

The highlight of their endeavors so far however is undoubtedly the massive window signage – boldly proclaiming HOT ink! The signs were created locally but are definitely the brainchild of Dave and Gina.  The signs are made of the same material as ‘L’ and ‘P’ plates used in motor vehicles and was easily installed by Dave and Victorian State Business Manager, Ian Urquhart in under 10 minutes.

The effect of this commitment to their ink category has been felt almost immediately with several customers over heard musing they didn’t even know the store sold ink despite it being a permanent fixture for over two years. The new lease of life and especially the signage will ensure this mistake won’t be made again!

The newsXpress Bairnsdale window before HOT ink!

newsXpress Beechworth launches

newsXpress Beechworth was launched on Saturday and left the locals and tourists understanding that small business can make a difference.

Tracy and Ian McVea set up the promotional day with 2 goals:

1. Highlight the newsXpress  magazine Loyalty Card offer and grow magazine sales, &

2. Being only 30 minutes drive to a major regional centre, highlight the local offer.

And what a success they made of it…

Magazine sales up over 120% on the day compared to last Saturday. Over 200 magazine Loyalty Cards distributed in a town of only 1840!

Strong acceptance of the HOT ink! offering with even city visitors asking why prices were so good.

Also in attendance on the day was ‘Sparky the Clown’ – what he can do with balloons is amazing! Sparky spent several hours entertaining the big kids with balloon shaping and the little ones with colouring competitions.

newsXpress Beechworth certainly made some noise in Victoria’s premier heritage town in the North East on Saturday.
