Promoting the newsXpress Magazine Club Card

mag-wash.JPGnewsXpress Knox recently created a front of store magazine display which visually connected with the newsXpress Magazine Club Card collateral.

Both the newsXpress Magazine Club Card poster collateral and the display used the washing line look for promoting magazines.

The washing line motif can also be used deeper in-store, connecting the front of store display with the broader magazine department itself.   The washing like is good as it shows off a variety of titles – the range here as in so many newsXpress newsagencies is about much more than just the top selling weekly titles.

The Magazine Club Card is an excellent point of difference for newsXpress stores.  Buying magazines from newsXpress helps shoppers save money.

newsXpress Phonecard a Terrific Gift

newsxpress-phonecard.JPGThe branded newsXpress phonecard offering 25 cent untimed local calls and good value international calls is proving to be a popular gift in all sorts of occasions.  Promoted behind the counter, with international newspapers, with daily newspapers and out the front of the store, the newsXpress Phonecard is proving to be a hit for newsXpress members, driving excellent basket building business.  The bonus is the margin made by newsXpress members.

newsXpress members seeing the most growth have trained their sales team to offer the phonecard as a gift suggestion.  Customers love it as they are giving a gift with a wonderful emotional connection.

Loving magazines in Sunbury

spitfiremagazine.JPGnewsXpress Sunbury Square is showing the people of Sunbury a wonderful range of special interest titles through their magazine of the Week promotion.  They are using this counter campaign to show off range.  Recently, they promoted Spitfire 75 magazine as their Magazine of the Week.  This made a lot of sense given their proximity to Melbourne’s Tullamarine airport and the numbber of flying enthusiasts who shop with them.  In the photo is Rita from newsXpress Sunbury Square, proudly smiling at the counter of their store.

State of Origin Promotion at Eli Waters

Being noticed by every customer entering the store and reaching back into the business for brilliant effect, this display not only helps drive sales of products promoted it also provides an excellent talking point i-store and gives off a level of energy which is great for business.

Great Stationery offer in Townsville

Victorian newsXpress Members Enjoy One-Day Conference

Through the course of the day there was an excellent mix of sessions sharing valuable insights for the short to medium term as well as into the future.

Trade Display Helps Newsagents Save and Expand

meltrade.JPGOur one-day newsXpress conference in Melbourne yesterday kicked off with a trade display which snaked along the outside of the conference facility.  A broad variety of products were on show from early in the morning through the course of the day.  Busy the whole time, the trade display provided members plenty of opportunities to see excellent products and to purchase many on special for the day.

Creative Gift Packaging Display at newsXpress Watergardens

Bright, colourful and aspirational, the display shows off a range of products available from the Watergardens gift department.

This display is another example of leveraging newsXpress preferred supplier products and presenting the business in a more creative and attractive light than shoppers might expect to see in an average newsagency situation.

newsXpress Watergardens enjoys excellent card, wrap and packaging sales, in part due to the excellent displays created and managed by Renee and her team.

Kombi Van display in a newsagency?

The small window display has people on the street stopping and entering the shop to look.  Sales follow … demonstrating the value of carefully selected product displayed tactically to leverage passing traffic.

The newsXpress preferred supplier suite of close to 120 suppliers offers an excellent range of commercially valuable opportunities like these Kombi Vans which are working well for newsXpress Ocean Grove.

The retro themed display works with other products in a newsagency such as retro cookbooks and cards.  Timing is everything they say and right now, retro is in.

Blowing away the cold weather

For each colour they have a poster explaining attributes of the colour and how this can help, going beyond a basic display and providing information which will help people make their colour selections.

This is a terrific display, innovative, fun and colourful, a display which will draw people to look.

Newsagent trade show helps broaden product mix

bnemtg0511b.JPGThe boutique trade show which accompanied yesterday’s one-day newsagent conference hosted by newsXpress in Brisbane generated plenty of interest and activity.   With fourteen suppliers hosting stands and other suppliers with products in gift bags for attendees, the day was a good networking and commercial success.  Importantly, it demonstrated the value of connecting newsXpress members with a broad range of suppliers who offer good margin, points of difference and marketing stories.
